I have been dealing with Scott’s regarding a window quality issue since late 2024 and it still isn’t resolved Most recently, Scott’s had ordered a plastic sliding tray for the window. I ordered a Larson storm door at Scott's. They told me it would be in by Friday, November 15, 2024. I arranged to have a handyman at my home that morning at 9:30 AM to install the door. I arrived at Scott's that morning at 8:30 AM. I was told the door was in and directed me to the building next door to pick it up. The employees in the storage building could not find the door. Disappointed on many levels. While my salesman was great, the balance of my experience was not good at all. Choose somewhere else to spend your money. Lets face it, this is commodity items, and you need good service, so this is not the place to pick.
I have bought and delt with Lampert yard in sioux falls for over twenty years until I met a yard member by the name of Doug. Doug told me one day about three weeks ago he wouldn't sell me any lumber that had to do something with him and his boss. I do my purchasing from another yard. Doug was very nasty to me and and was very un professional The word will be spread to outher contractors. Home builders. Thank you.
