Justin Padfield (owner of Scott’s Hotrods) started Scott’s Hotrods ‘N Customs several years ago in a 2,000 square foot shop which has now grown to 16,000 square feet. The shop has built many of the top rod’s seen at shows and continues to fill magazine publications with new projects. I called to get some information on the brake pedal assemblies they sell for 67-72 chevy trucks. I spoke with Justin, and while the questions I asked were pretty innocuous, I guess I sounded like a dumb ass to him. I was cut off while trying to relay information about a wilwood master cylinder I already have and the information I received was delivered with a condescending attitude. Not sure what people expect from a hotrod shop in terms of being kind and cuddley... i ordered a ifs for my 59 f1 and Justin was more than helpful. Straight to the point, no BS. If you dont know what it takes to customize your ride maybe you should pay someone to do it. Not saying im some pro, by no means.... but from what ive seen and heard about these guys, nothing but superb products. Dont knock them because you cant figure it out and they call you out. Great communication. Top notch fabrication work. If you are going to do a project car right there is no better shop in the country. Spent 100's of thousands with this company and no one does it better. Built 6 cars and no one pays more attention to detail than Justin and his team. To some of these other reviews, if you are building a car and need instructions, or someone to give you nuts and bolts... Stop building cars.
