We have shopped at many Home Hardware’s and we almost always receive excellent service. But Scott’s is different. The entire full-time staff is beyond knowledgeable about every product they carry and is more than willing to help you with your project. The owners are beyond likeable - they feel like friends. We are mediocre DIY’ers and we never feel like we’re asking a stupid question - the staff gives us confidence and ensures we have the right product for the job. Though most of the staff here are very helpful and kind, there is one woman who works the cash who is very cold and unkind with me (and I am very friendly) - I believe it is because I have a visible disability (she is super friendly to everyone else). It really blew my day. I dread going into the store (and I live locally so I don't have many choices unfortunately). Please do better and have more compassion for others. PS. I am a woman myself (using my friend's account to leave the review).
