We were staying at our trailer in the County when we had breakdown with our car in Bloomfield. CAA got us started again but said we probably would not get far with what he believed was a faulty alternator. He suggested we try to make to Scott's Automotive just around the corner. Erin was very gracious and went to work right away to have a mechanic check it out. She pointed out that they would only replace what was needed. Scott's checked out the AC on my 2019 Audi A5 Sportback. Advised that all was working to specs. Nice to know there's a shop that doesn't recommend unnecessary work!
It's the worst experience I've ever dealt with from a mechanic shop. My car had several issues. They gave me a quote for $2300. I took off a few things off the list and asked if they could replace 2 sensors for me which is easily accessible. These 2 sensors cost $126 for both. Scotts automotive sends me a quote for $3400, I was shocked, I looked at the breakdown, they charging almost $600 each to replace each sensor. Wtf...
