Scott performed my prostate Biopsy, he calibrated it with an MRI for targeting. He was very accurate and careful. Good doctor. I think some people expect more handholding but this doctor is very busy and I appreciate the efficiency.
I am very happy having EvegreenHealth Urology and Dr. Appledorn as my surgeon. He & his team were very prompt in setting up my initial appointment after getting urgent referral, followed by cystoscopy and TURBT surgery. I feel lucky I was able to get these all done in the short span of time. Surgery was smooth, post op recovery was pretty fast. You are just a number with an insurance card. Doctor does not even check on you after surgery. Sends a nurse to see you in the hospital on the next day.You can do much better with a doctor and clinic that cares. They refused to help with my state short term disability claim form and told me to ask my primary care doctor for help. My primary doctor had nothing to do with my surgery. Horrible experience.
Had a 2:00 appointment and by 2:05 I already had blood draw and was in the room waiting for the doctor. He was extremely knowledgeable. Good choice.
I recently went to this doctor for a cystoscopy due to a urinary tract infection. He and his assistant were very professional and calming. He explained the process and set my mind at ease. It only lasted a couple of minutes and the process was alright. No pain, no discomfort. He then contacted me a couple of days later to report the urinalysis during the procedure. I was so anxious but I could see myself having another one if needed. No more fear! Thanks!
