A doctor that doesn’t accept new patients… how original yet sad that our country is reduced to how much money you pay a month determining whether or not you get evaluated. Don’t come here if you have an HMO they’re not accepting that insurance but then what insurance do they take. Either way I guess I will remove them as my PCP since they won’t accept me. The healthcare in this country is useless but what else is new
I have used Dr. Simms in the past and, he is an incredible physician! However, he will no longer see me because I am on Medicare and, since I have not seen him in a couple years, I am considered a new patient. He will not accept Medicare patients as new patients even though the Medicare website says he accepts them!! Very disappointing!
Office staff is rude!! Tried to make a new patient visit Michelle kept getting my information wrong! Asked me why I was wanting to see this doctor, then realized that I had moved away in 2017. The problem is they will NOT! Give me a new patient visit until I give them all the forms first, the forms says BRING IN AT TIME OF THE APPOINTMENT. This doctor was highly recommended by Medicare , I’m sure he is good, Howe office staff is Rude and care more about their policies instead of the patient!
Caution---Not accepting new patients even though it may say so on your insurance website. Based on recommendations found online it seems that Dr. Simms would be a great doctor. However, even though they have not been accepting new patients for the past several months (per the receptionist) they chose not to update this information to the insurance companies. I chose him then tried to make an appointment once I got my insurance card and was told that they are not accepting new patients. Quite inconvenient and frustrating.
Been going here for years. LOVE Laura! I moved now so don’t make it back here often but the care has always been great and the office is very sweet.
