We brought my Jeep in on July 14th to have some corrosion repaired. What should have been a simple job turned into a really disappointing experience. When we attempted to pick the Jeep up that Friday, we had to refuse delivery due to dirt nibs and solvent bubbles in the clear coat, which never should have passed quality control at a professional body shop. I recently spent over $2,000 to repair a small corrosion spot on my Jeep’s hood and windshield frame, with the understanding that the entire hood would be repainted.
