I took my mother to Hattiesburg Eye Clinic West to get a new pair of glasses, and they tried their best to get her to have a lot of unnecessary test run that had nothing to do with getting a new pair of glasses. She is in a nursing home and on a very tight budget, and I do not appreciate a clinic that tries to take advantage of the elderly!
Billing dept is so rude! First they demand $500 up front for an emergency surgery. Took an hour to arrange a payment plan. Then they collected $200 I didnt even owe as the doctor bill (not their facility bill) hit my insurance out of pocket maximum for the year. Second required surgery again they wanted $500 up front. I had to remind them my out of pocket was met for the year. Fast forward to this year, a car accident later which maxed out of pocket for this year, and they again want hundreds up front for cataract surg... read more
