After suffering from severe upper back, shoulder, left arm pain, and left hand tingling and numbness for several months, I made an appointment with Dr Sanderson. His office is conveniently located across from Danbury Hospital with ample free parking. His staff were friendly and efficient with close to no wait time. Dr Sanderson was friendly, empathetic, thorough and knowledgeable. He discussed many treatment options. Unfortunately I did not get relief of the pain with the conservative option I chose. Upon follow-up, Dr Sande... read more
After bumbling around with several medical professionals “treating” my alarming sciatic pain, accompanied by an increasingly drooping foot, and a sudden limp, I was finally referred to Scott Sanderson. Why would I need to see a neurosurgeon? I was skeptical, maybe even fearful. But, what a relief! My 81 year old mother just had spinal fusion surgery along with some other procedures during the same operation. I was very worried about how she would fair. Dr. Sanderson did an extraordinary job! She immediately felt better. Was up and walking the next day and was home a day later. He is the best of the best. I have been putting off surgery myself and seeing the work Dr. Sanderson performs I am no longer afraid to do it. Run, don’t walk, and see him if you want an incredibly capable doctor to get you out of pain.
After 2 years of experiencing increasing pain from sciatica, and having been “batted” around a bit by other practitioners, I only continued to get worse. I tried everything I could to avoid having surgery, from chiropractic, PT, and epidural steroid injections, but the pain from a herniated L5/S1 was becoming excruciating. These more conservative measures were clearly not working for me and I made the decision to call Dr. Scott Sanderson, based on recommendations from several people. I was able to see him the same day! He ki... read more
