I had a really positive experience with Dr. Scott N. Grossman. His assistant, who performed all of my testing (I unfortunately forgot her name), was incredibly kind, patient, and helpful throughout the entire appointment. When Dr. Grossman came in, he first let his assistant explain everything we had discussed and all of my symptoms. He then asked if there was anything I wanted to add and made sure everything she shared was accurate and made sense. Dr. Grossman is truly an outstanding neuro-ophthalmologist. From my very first visit through every follow-up appointment, he has consistently demonstrated incredible kindness, empathy, and genuine attentiveness to all my concerns. Dr. Grossman is extremely intelligent, thorough and has an amazing way to put you at ease. He and his team gave me numerous tests and he discussed the results and course of action for me going forward. I highly recommend him if you need an eye specialist. He's a great asset to the NYU experience.
Receptionists are both very kind and sweet. The nurse who took me in for initial tests and vitals was a sweetheart as well! The first physician, Ruben, who saw me was kind and patient. Did some quick tests to look in my eyes and got my med hx. Then he went to get Dr. Grossman to brief him of the situation and his findings.
