Dr. Lewis is an experienced doctor but his bedside manner is none existent. He was rude and very dry during my visit. For those going to him for an AME, his evaluation will render a fair rating, but be prepared to being asked repeatedly, WHAT ELSE DID YOU B---- ABOUT. He has zero patience or empathy towards W/C patients, rebutting and questioning every statement you respond to. My husband needed a knee replacement. We didn't know what doctor to choose but we heard a lot of good reports from friends, neighbors and other doctors about Dr. Baron. We did a computer search and learned as much about him as we could and it was all favorable information. We found him to be very personable and extremely pleasant. My husband's surgery went very well so he is really glad we chose Dr. Baron for his surgery.

Dr. Baron himself seems nice enough and knowledgeable. His practice, however, charged us for a "INJECT/DRAIN JOINT/BURSA" - which classifies as "Surgical" - for giving my wife a steroid shot to the knee, which they get to ask ~$200 for, despite the fact that my wife's PCP didn't charge her a "surgery" charge just a few months prior for the same shot. To be clear, there was no surgical procedure, and the shot had no effect. The billing agent simply said, "That's how we code this." Classy.
