Very unprofessional and never returned my calls with a complication that he knew about after surgery. They said I should keep following up. They then started billing my insurance and charging me a copay. I tried to communicate with his staff several times and no call back. Then I was put on hold and then hung up on. Dr. Scott is an outstanding physician who has been my retina specialist for several years. He has also been my dad’s eye specialist. The office staff was great until a few were not. However the last time I was in the intake was much more pleasant. I called this morning to let them know that my dad would not be coming in for his appointment later this month because he passed away last week. The person answering was not rude but certainly not trained well on etiquette. There was no empathetic response at all.

My wife and I have been patients of Dr. Scott's for a long time. Over the years his office staff and his customer service have waned. I used to get upset and let it get to me when I was treated like my time didn't matter at a doctor's office. Now I just go somewhere else.
