As a first time mom, I would NOT recommend Dr. Eaton. He barely answered my questions and continually let the NP handle my case. His NP neglected to treat an infection that she confirmed with test results twice citing I had no symptoms as her reason. This ultimately landed me in the ER and I could have lost my child. Both Dr. Eaton and his NP are not very forthcoming with providing any information to help new parents know what to expect or look forward to. I'm glad I got a second opinion. He is my favorite doctor and he is so great and I am very proud of him
Dr. Eaton is very good at what he does, but I believe his bedside manners could be a bit more on the softer/sensitive side especially for pregnant women! He does seem to zip through the appointment which can catch you off guard if you're not prepared with a series of questions beforehand. I trust his judgment do to his many years of this profession, I just needed to not feel rushed, but it could just be the difference beteeen private practice doctors ???????
I drive all the way from Modesto just see dr Eaton for my pregnancy. He was my doctor for my previous pregnancy and everything was always smooth and the office staff is very helpful and friendly. I never wait to long to see the doctor. I had an insurance change twice and have only been able to see dr Eaton in the end of my current pregnancy, but it’s worth the drive to have a peace of mind. I would recommend him and his office to anyone.
