Ummm...its campus housing, but Google wants a review so....it appears to house campus students quite adequately.
Negative stars. Housing policies are never enforced. Ongoing issues with drugs, alcohol, parties, and severe sanitation problems that attract pests and rodents are ignored. Students who try to follow the rules are left dealing with the consequences while management does nothing. This “housing” operates like a business and will tell you so. Scott housing management does not support student wellbeing nor ensures student safety.
Do not live at Scott Crossing unless you are okay with unsafe and unhygienic living conditions that housing neglects to address. I’ve dealt with ongoing, extreme hygiene issues that management completely failed to address although knowing of the issues for months. Roommates left piles of dirty dishes with rotten food in them for weeks at a time and refused to clean up after themselves. Worst internet of all time. Randomly goes out and the connection is so terrible it can’t even work in zoom calls. Like what’s the point of living on campus if I can barely do anything internet related. It’s honestly a joke how bad it is.
Immediate bonuses-- housekeeping once per week, close to Scott Cafe. I'm decently sure that all dorms here have separated bedrooms too? Mine does. Otherwise just some things to look out for here. The walls seem to be pretty thin. I can hear quite a bit going on, if not pretty much in neighboring bedrooms, upper bedrooms, or neighboring suites a lot of the time.
