I took my six month old rescue puppy here for a skin condition. He had scaly little patches of hair loss popping up almost overnight. They asked the usual questions like if he was scratching, which he was not, and they did a skin scraping that was negative. The vet said he had a "skin infection" and prescribed an antibiotic and a drug for "itching" called Apoquel, even though I repeated to her he wasn't scratching.
