Staff is ok. They can't actually fix anything just cover up repairs. But overall good. There are so much worse out there.
Called in June. Called in August. Waitlisted in October. Told in November "There are people in a lot worse circumstances than you, Lucy." & "We have no openings. Homelessness of children in winter is not the concern of Scott County housing, you are number 21 on the waitlist." There's no dignity in poverty in this town, good luck to us all.
Will be contacting the department of housing on discrimination
Being homeless on a waiting list for 5+ months while there are several places open. I’ve never had a harder time getting off a waiting list for places that had LESS houses. Scott county is not here to serve your needs.
It would be wise to have cameras throughout the unit if you reside here.
