He is the best- top notch and the most outstanding OB/Gyn at Kaiser. He does have a kind of quirky personality, but you have to get to know him a bit to get his sense of humor. He will listen to you, address your concerns, call or email back right away, go out of his way to call you in later afternoon hours, and just shows up in a retro way that we just don't see any longer. He also will let you come in for concerns without looking at his flow chart to see if you are "allowed" an appointment. Very smart, very professional.
This doctor is a blessing. If you are lucky enough to be under his care, know that you are in the best hands. He was the light when things felt very scary. He really truly cares about his patients, enough to call and check on you when he is not working and at home. I can’t praise him enough for the care he provided me after the birth of my second child.
My wife has been seen by this doctor many times due to bleeding issues. During that time, the doctor never told us any reason behind it or what the name of disease was. Instead he said its because she is old, made her feel more depressed. Not all the women in her age has that problem just because they are old. She got lots of hormonal pills that forced her bleeding to stop eventually but other side effects came along. She always felt pain a few days later whenever the doctor inspected. An exceptional doctor. Four years ago I had the first appointment ever with this obgyn doctor. He linstened to everything I said very carefully, explained to me what's going on and both agreed to have the surgery done. He chose to give me the more elaborate and time consuming surgery for my own good. Everything went really well, and it is well to this day.
