If I could rank lower than 1 star, I would. He did not listen to my issues… did not look at the tests that diagnostic imaging sent with me, reran the same tests, then prescribed a med that required prior authorization, and sent me home when he should have had me treated immediately for a blood clot from my groin to my ankle
I want to share my experience with Dr. Birdwell. I brought my friend to St. Luke's ER on 8/14/23 in terrible pain, having recently been diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer. He ordered a CT Scan and saw clearly she had a partial obstruction in her abdomen -- a complete obstruction could kill you. Then he sent her home like she was nothing, they didn't even take the IV out of her arm before we were whisked out of there. This man spoke to her like she was nothing.
