On 4/23/2026 Scotland Granite & Marble (S.G.M. Stone) upgraded our existing kitchen countertops and backsplash to a quartz called Calacatta Savoy. I dealt with Tim who was very professional. Once I chose my stone, Enrique was at my house the same afternoon to take measurements. A couple days later Tim sent me pictures of the cut stone then called to set a day for installation. The installers were very quick and efficient. I will recommend this company to anyone looking for countertops or other stonework.
TJ was a great salesperson. He was patient with me throughout my selection of the various countertops. The entire process was handled in a timely and professional manner and I love the countertops in my kitchen. The kitchen was the only area I changed the countertop.
We hired Scotland Granite to install our countertops for a custom new construction home, and the overall experience was extremely disappointing. My advice would be to use the granite installers in Sanford NC not these people. We initially placed a $500 deposit with Erwin to reserve specific slabs. However, when we returned later to coordinate colors, we were informed that the three slabs we had reserved were given away without our knowledge. Stay away. I wouldn’t believe half of these reviews on here. Granite is chipped and stained. Finish is wearing off not even 6 months after installation. If you want a company with horrible communication skills, poor product installation, and doesn’t follow through with the warranty then look no further!
