Time to switch Mortgage and transfer accounts a different Bank that will treat you with dignity and respect! I cannot believe Scotiabank blocked my debit card to access my hard-earned money while I am on vacation outside of the country and on my birthday weekend! Penny was a great help today in setting up a savings account. Nice to talk to and was very transparent on the account. The reason I've taken stars off is my experience last time wasn't the greatest with another advisor as I wasn't given full transparency on a different account I opened and ended up having to close it since it wasn't what I expected.
Very poor service. No empathy for customer.
They couldn't help me at the branch and asked me to phone the online banking!
Had an appointment scheduled via phone. Waited 1 hour and nobody called me. No notification that it was cancelled or anything. I waited around for an entire hour and really needed this appointment. Apparently, customers time isn't as valuable as their own time.
