I went in to make a 3rd party deposit to a vendor that we are using for some services and at first i was told that I wasn't able to make the deposit directly to the business account...I did my research online and realized that's incorrect. I found the managers name of the branch Jonathan and he was very helpful. Considering its the "flagship" branch I'm surprised it took that long to find someone who was able to assist.
Trying to find an ATM that can dispense USD. Called 800 number, told this Nicolas guy that I tried search online, it just says ＂looking for stickers that says Both Canadian & US dollars", so can you please tell me which location has that ATM? He replied : Just go to a branch. I told him I would like to know the location and go directly. And told him I want to withdraw the Usd from my Tangerine USD acoount. 20 year customer with Scotiabank. The customer service keeps getting worse. I've already to moved out of their private banking and all personal account. Our business account is still with them and unfortunately and today the scales have tipped to move our business account as well. The teller was kind (clearly new) but the manager (Christina) is not only unprofessional but also rude and condescending.
Atm after atm and none of them is working. They tell you "put your money in our bank, it's still yours"... that's is very untrue when they have your money and you have no way of actually get it back when needed. Best is not to trust anyone with your hard earned money especially a bank that owns empty ATMs.
They didn’t do their due diligence to verify credit applicants and easily gave out credits to fraudsters with just a phone call during covid-19 pandemic and as a result they lost a ton of money. And what they did? Walked off and filled innocent people and blaming others for not safeguarding ID, excuse me? They shouldn’t exist with their lack of sense of today’s security environment. Their negligence is part of fraud.
