Where do I begin with Scotiabank 🤬🤬🤬 My monthly fee is $3.95, they've been charging me $21.45 as a monthly fee the last few months when the bank account states it is only $3.95. Also 3 times I have had my Scotiabank account hacked and it has been down for a month, each time taking multiple branch visits and hour phone calls to get answers. I had a very disappointing experience at this Scotiabank branch. I went in to update my PIN ,something that should be routine ,but the interaction with the front desk teller, Manan, was far from professional. From the beginning, he seemed uninterested and somewhat hostile. He questioned why I came to this branch, pointing out that my account was with another location. Very long wait times to speak with a representative but it was worth the wait. The representative placed me on hold for awhile but it ended up being worth it for the outcome was better than expected. Thank you Scotiabank for helping me during a challenging time. Ive had to call quite a few financial institutions the last few days since im getting back on my feet. When I reached out about my credit card situation, they worked with me to reduce the interest rate, providing much-needed relief.
Insurance cheque was taken to bank to pay off car loan… teller said no …cheque has to clear , put it in our account and put 5 day hold on it. After 5 day hold ,Manager said the teller should have taken payout for car account and deposit the balance. The cheque was flagged as fraudulent and is stuck in limbo. Mgr said funds could be held for 6 years!!! They made a mistake!! I called insurance company and the sent paperwork proving it cleared!! The supposed Executive offices are not equipped with the proper skills to mediate situations that occur at the Brampton branch @sandalwood pkwy . They have terminated a relationship with a 20 plus long standing client yet overlooked the pathetic 2 star ratings for the lack lustre performance of this branch , very sad day for Scotiabank’s reputation
