Visited this Scotiabank branch for a document. The person who assisted me was rude and unprofessional, and didn’t provide the required service from the start of our conversation. I ended up going to another Scotiabank location, where they helped me in under 10 minutes. I’m sharing this because it’s genuinely disappointing, especially since this branch already has over 100 one-star reviews and it seems nothing is being done.
This scotia bank location is an absolute disgrace. Every time I am there I am dealt with attitude especially from the managers. The fact that over 100 1 star reviews have not prompted a change is shocking
terrible customer service - I was advised through email to come into the branch to pick up a replacement credit card. The bank understood that this was an urgent replacement for me and rushed the card to my nearest branch. I was contacted and told that the card was available for pickup. I confirmed the branch was open online and scheduled time out of my working day to pick up the card; however, when I arrived at the branch I was told by the branch manager that they were only providing service by appointment.
