Pathetic customer service, extremely unsupportive staff. If you’re not already avoiding Scotiabank for arms trading and military company funding, make sure you avoid this branch in specific.
Most uncooperative branch in the history of banks. I've been there a multiple times with all the correct paperwork and POA to update my 93 year old dads credit address and they still can't help. They say I need to make an appointment with an advisor and they want me to bring him n to change the address. They said that it's too close to closing time to process it today. I highly suggest to avoid this place at all costs. I suppose this is why they have a 2.7 rating, but even that is too high.
The lady who assisted me with my banking query was just staright up unaccomodating and rude. Like some other reviewer said, they'll make you feel like you are up to some shady business. I understand the need to be thorough and precautious with who ever walks in depending on the query. But it can very much be done with grace and class. Far from it, they'll treat you like you're runaway criminal and needs to be 'rapped over the knuckles' for simply being yourself. Needs proper managament ASAP!
