Very bad experience with this branch, I applied for a line of credit account 3 weeks ago. No updates yet. I had to go to the branch thrice, just to check the status on f my application, since no one picks up the phone when you call them, and the financial advisor kept saying that he was busy and couldn’t process my application in 3 weeks. Very frustrating and unprofessional. DO NOT go to Main Markham branch, it’s terrible.
New customer to Scotiabank, called my local branch to ask some questions, recording said wait time was 20 plus min, I wait patiently, was on hold for 46 mins and they hung up on me ! Tried calling back recording said wait time if greater than 40 mins ! Do better Scotia, your service levels are a joke and I won’t be a customer for long if this is how it’s gonna be…
Unbelievable terrible experience!!! 1. The teller wasn’t familiar with the process: she even got the simplest task wrong and put the wrong name on the bank draft. I had to go back twice just to get it fixed. 2. The teller had trouble hearing: she spoke quietly and couldn’t hear me well, but when I spoke louder so she could understand, it felt like I was yelling at her.
