ATM ate my money.... now I have to sit on a call to resolve
Worst experience ever when opening a bank account here. I opened a bank account at this branch and received a transaction from my family with all the necessary evidence. The bank held my account for a week, and every employee gave me different answers. Even the call center told me to provide proof of address to lift the hold. So, I went to the same shitty branch, and without any valid reason, they told me to get a my money through bank draft, close my Scotia account, and go to any other bank. Went to this scotia bank yesterday to get some money out to pay for gas to get home because I work out of town as I live in Niagara but left my wallet home by accident, and let me tell you guys I had the worst experience. BEFORE I WENT TO THIS LOCATION I GOT MY WIFE TO SCREENSHOT MY BANK CARD AND MY DRIVER'S LISCENSE AND TEXT IT TO ME. Can I give then negative star? It is very stupid branch! I want to open my personal account detail, but they find a bullshit excuse to refuse me. The star and staffs are very impatient. This customer server I can say a nightmare I will never go this branch again and I hope this branch could close soon and not to waste other people’s time.
