TLDR I was given advice that could get my account shut down Went in for help with checks I was unsure if I had deposited yet and was given advice by who I thought was either the floor supervisor or manager [an older woman, I believe named Kelly] that the only way to check if they had been deposited was to deposit them and see if the money stayed, I was with my fiance who also heard her say this. Terrible customer experience. It is now next to impossible to talk with a human being or make an email appointment with one's financial advisor. Their new online system for " communication" is a frustrating labyrinth, which will lead some people like myself to decide to get their money out of Scotiabank just as soon as investments come due. Scotiabank might as well put a sign up saying "Seniors not welcome"!
Banks can't ever get five stars! But people at the front desk are amazing!
Parking is brutal… and paid. gardeners rd branch has free parking at least
