I do not recommend this branch to anyone. I have expressed concern several times, escalating the matter to the attention of the branch manager, Nikki without successful resolution. Instead of accountability, I am being advised that the branch is short staffed or staff are unavailable due to being on sick leave. I continue to be charged NSF fees due to my mortgage continually being withdrawn on dates not outlined in my agreement. I had an extremely disappointing experience at this Scotiabank branch today at around 3:20 pm. I came in expecting basic customer service and left feeling completely disrespected. Not only was I not serviced at all, but the two women working there were rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. There was no effort to help, explain, or even speak respectfully. Poor service
I visited this branch requesting assistance with an electronic transfer between two Scotia accounts within the same branch. The manager, who had the authority to help expedite the process or at least provide confirmation of the transfer, declined to assist and stated, “It’s not my job.” We were simply asking for proof that the funds had been transferred. In over 20 years of dealing with this branch, I have never experienced such a lack of support from a branch manager. It was disappointing to receive so little assistance.
I went at this barrydowne location and meet shilpa who was very polite,helpful to me.She helped me with my papers exactly how I wanted.she is hard working women.I think employer has to give her pay raise.At the end i was satsified by her service.
