I stopped by the other day with a quick question and waited my turn while the teller assisted a family in front of me. When it was my turn, there was no one else in line, but the teller seemed more focused on the computer than actually helping me. I asked for assistance to activate my card, but they blamed the building’s wireless connection for why the app wasn’t working and suggested I come back another time. The branch manager is absolutely rude, disrespectful and smirked while I was explaining my situation of financial hardship. Scotiabank has by far the worst customer service of the big banks, and this manager made it clear.
