I visited Scotiabank today, and the experience was terrible. The financial advisor and the manager were extremely rude and spoke to me in a very unprofessional way. Their attitude was dismissive and disrespectful from the moment I arrived. This is completely unacceptable, especially from people who are supposed to help customers. I left feeling frustrated and disappointed. Scotiabank seriously needs to address this behavior.
Messed up setting up my credit card 3 times a couple years ago, was having charges they didn’t even know what they were for but i got my money back cause i went in and complained, cards always get declined when i have money in my account and couldn’t deposit a perdium cheque which is okay but ripped off the piece connected to it and failed to give me a receipt for my government cheque cause she messed up and just said sorry. There are no issues with the front window staff; they are professional and perform their duties well. The main concern lies with the management team, whose behavior has been consistently unprofessional. There is a noticeable amount of gossip and a lack of professionalism in how certain situations are handled, which creates an uncomfortable and unproductive work environment.
