Hello I visited Scotiabank in Barrie, Ontario, on Monday, June 8, at 9:30 a.m. right when they opened. Unfortunately, I can't remember the name of the lady who helped me, but she was incredibly friendly, professional, and helpful. I needed assistance with a few different things, and she took the time to make sure everything was handled properly. This bank is terrible, trying to get ahold of anyone is like pulling teeth. I wouldn't recommend this branch or any scotiabank for that matter.
Terrible service and bad attitudes. I simply wanted to exchange change for bills. I was told sure, “just take your counted change and roll it up and wait in line”. I did as asked. Spent ten minutes rolling, ten minutes in line, and then they wouldn’t simply open the register to change the money cause I wasn’t a client. I get it, misunderstandings happen, but the manager didn’t give me that info in advance, and was so dismissive and rude after I mentioned I was not pleased, since I’m a client of their partner branch tangerine... read more
