OnJanuary 8th at around 5:50 PM, just before closing, I went to this branch to make acash deposit. A female staff member told me thatas of July, Scotiabank no longer accepts cash deposits unless you have a Scotiabank account. I explained that I had made athird-party cash deposit at another Scotiabank branch just the day before, but instead of checking or clarifying, she rudely told me,“Then go to that branch.” That branch closes at 5 PM, which is exactly why I came all the way to this location. One of our investments is maturing on Nov 17 and we tried to get an appointment for the past 5 days with an investment councilor (s) and no one called back. Tried to leave message with 4 different people and and one " voice mail not monitored " two had " voice mail full " and Mark's voice mail response was that he will call back within 24 hours. Extremely disappointed with the manager and assistant manager. They lied to me about my eligibility for a high interest savings account. It took over two months to resolve and I still did not receive the full interest amount.
