honestly don’t understand how Scotiabank hired the front desk employee Ayushi Patel at this branch. She has absolutely zero customer service skills and clearly has no idea how to help customers. When you ask her a question, she gives no clear directions or guidance. You basically have to figure everything out yourself and then she just says “yes.” That’s not helping anyone. I had a very frustrating experience with Scotiabank. I am currently on a work permit and wanted to inquire about a line of credit. The website instructed me to call customer service. When I called customer service, they told me to visit a branch. I took half a day off work to go to the branch, only to be told that they cannot process it because I am on a work permit.
