They cancel phone appointments and don’t reply to emails. Terrible service, their corporate office can’t even reach them!
I have tried 5 times in the last 3 weeks, different days, different times, and I can’t withdraw money from the drive through. I am handicapped and it’s very difficult to get inside the back on busy or snowy days. You don’t find out you can’t withdraw money until after you log in. This is a computer, instead of showing me useless advertisements on the screen, tell me up front I can’t get my money! This is terrible customer service.
They are the worst people I’ve ever dealt with in any so-called professional setting. They didn’t even bother to ask for a single document or question—nothing. They flat-out refused to wire MY OWN MONEY from MY OWN ACCOUNT with the pathetic excuse that they were “not comfortable” doing it. Are you serious? The mortgage team for Scotia is a disaster to deal with. They need all theses documents and pictures of items that shouldn’t concern them (like plumbing and a lawn mower that was included with a property). They actively drive away customers. Do not do business with Scotiabank for mortgages!
Impossibly hard to reach the actual bank to speak with someone at the branch.
