We arranged an appoitment with Nicholas Dube a banking rep at the branch for my mother who needed to have access to her deceased husbands chequing account which they made us come in person - that was a challenge as my mother is in a rehablilative hospital in a wheelchair so we needed to call a wheelchair accessible cab. Scotiabank is honestly the worst bank especially with this new maintenance that's been 3 days longer then expected can't see how much is on my credit and can't even pay with my credit card what a useless bank in my opinion
Worst customer service.
This has got to be the worst bank ever to get a hold of. Poor customer service the person on the other end hung up on me. Expect a 40 minute wait to speak to a call centre.
Giving them 1 star is only because the branch manager Caroline has been helpful throughout our time in the Sudbury area. Without her, we would've left awhile ago. She appears to be the only one that can get anything done at this branch. I've been with Scotiabank for almost 20 years now, working with branches in Saskatoon and Winnipeg with no issues.
