I had a very disappointing experience at this Scotiabank branch. The manager, Susan Tann, was not helpful at all when we inquired about having a fee reduced or waived. She said it simply wasn’t possible, without offering any alternatives or showing a willingness to assist. To be sure, we visited another Scotiabank branch to confirm—and were told by the manager there that there is a way to waive the fee, and that it just requires a bit of effort from the branch staff. Very poor experience at this branch. Came in for opening new account with an appointment. Staff (Stacy) was not fully knowledgeable on the offer at the same time not welcoming at all. Eventually ended up not proceeding further based on the staffs cold behavior
