Horrible customer service.
Waited in line and saw one of the lady workers telling another to not take their scheduled break because the customer line was too long. That should have been the first red flag. I ended up going to that lady for help and asked her to change my chequing account to a student chequing one. Lady said that she changed my chequing account to a student one after she checked all necessary IDs and things. Over a week later and it still is not changed to a student chequing account. The staff at the teller machine are not very professional. The service in this branch of Scotiabank is pathetic. If you need any documentation, the staff harasses by asking all sorts of unnecessary questions. It is none of the banks' business to know why i need documentation related to my own account. I went to another nearby branch, and the request was promptly answered. I'm never going back to this branch again. AVOID VISITING THIS BRANCH.
