Few days ago, I visited the Morningside branch and requested a bank teller to transfer some money. Unfortunately, I mistakenly directed the transfer to an inactive credit line that still appears on my account. I asked the teller to transfer the funds to the active credit line with an outstanding balance and remove the old, inactive credit line. Nice staff and the branch manager seems proactive. The lines can get long as there are only two tellers operating at any given time.
Terrible experience with Manager, talking down to me and scolding me for using credit card as my main card. Problem is, ScotiaBank recently got a software issue with their online app and this is an issue on their end, not mine. Avoid this branch! Edit: Calling ScotiaBank directly, people were way more friendlier and explained the reason why my problem came up. Again, avoid this branch and their horrible manager
