We’ve had multiple frustrating experiences at the Scotiabank North Langley branch. Most recently, we booked an appointment two weeks in advance and then received a call 30 minutes beforehand asking us to reschedule because they said they wouldn’t have time to finish before closing. My husband had already left work early, so that was very frustrating. We went in anyway to deal with whatever we could in the allotted one hour appointment. We like Scotiabank but regret having this particular branch as our home branch. Every time we have to go in, it's not a good experience. They randomly adjust their hours, are Kate for appointments, we book with our advisor but it is always changed to someone else, we set up an appointment and they called us 30 minutes before to try and reschedule. Such a hassle to deal with them. I recommend avoiding this branch if you can, we will look into swapping.

This bank has gone so downhill in the past years it's shocking. Can't wait to move all my accounts shortly over to a bank that actually cares about customer service.

I went in to open a credit card, was dealing with Yugam. He was late to his own appointment, from there we got started and he said I would likely not get approved for a credit card because “I looked young and I didn’t understand how the banking system worked” he then proceeded to ask me if ive tried to instead get a credit card with RBC. I insisted to get the Scotiabank card and he said “I can do it but its doing to be a lot of work on my end”.
