Yersay Nie wu was a great service rep. I went into the branch to close my account and was in and out within 15 minutes.
Went with $500 cash to send it to my daughter who lives in the UK. I do not have any account with this institution but she has. Unfortunately I was denied, since July 2025 they can not accept cash.🤔🤔🤔🤔
Worst customer service. Don't even bother going to this branch. They will not even listen to the request.
Our experience with Scotiabank — specifically with Louis — was extremely disappointing. We had a scheduled appointment today at 1:00 PM to address an urgent issue with our business account caused entirely by the bank’s mishandling. Despite confirming the meeting via email, when we arrived at the branch, we were informed Louis had already left for the day. I don’t even want to give ie one star but the system made me to do. The worst banking service that i had in Canada. Thanks for the worst customer service i will never use their service any more. I received a broken 50 dollar bill from their ATM and they refused to exchange a new one to me, instead they said they will ask the HO or somewhere else to see what they can do for me.
