I had an excellent experience securing my mortgage through Gurman Bhatia at Scotiabank. Gurman was incredibly knowledgeable, responsive, and made the whole process feel easy and stress-free. She worked hard to get me the best rate and terms. I highly recommend Gurman to anyone looking for mortgage advice!
Met with a lying advisor - Ayush Garg. Told me that I have to get a hold with my cosigner right away for confirmation to proceed which I knew for sure would not be available at the moment then blame it on me that asking him to call right away when speaking to his manager. Later on agree that he can book a call for all parties for confirmation and renewal which is ridiculous.
I've been with pretty much every bank in Canada and have dealt with nothing but the worst service. That is until I met Ayush Garg at this branch. He is incredible. I was expecting a horrible experience based on the reviews, but was pleasantly surprised at the excellent service I was given by a young woman named Murtafia. She is a WONDERFUL employee; very friendly, courteous, and helpful!
Sadly this is our home bank. The branch is unable to handle its clients in a timely manner. They book appointments with people who are not available. When we show up, instead of making time for us as we made time to come to the bank they told us to come back another day.
