A true gong show. Needed to replace my credit card. Asked to have it delivered to the nearest branch, Stittsville Main. Several days after making the request received a “welcome” email on 18 June indicating that the new card would be available 5 - 7 business days later. I patiently waited until today, 4 July, to confirm the card’s availability. The branch had not received it. Scotia gave me a few days notice about a rate change on a loan. Said they can't do anything about it over the phone. Tell me a teller in a branch can help. As soon as I am physically able to go into a branch they said to book an appointment or they can't help. It's literally the deadline for this. Guess I will be moving all my business away from scotia. They are literally the worst bank to deal with.
Awful branch! Customers service is horrendous. Book appts on the app or in person for a phone call appt so you dont have to miss work and no one ever calls. I spoke to the branch manager and he openly admits the lack or communication from HIS staff is and "epidemic" his solution to have a meeting. Thats it! Not once did he offer a meeting with himself to rectify the ongoing issue. This branch is disgusting and after being a customer of scotiabank for 15+ years. Im going acrthe street to TD
