Booked an appointment for service online weeks in advance, recieved a text message confirmation and also called to confirm. Then received a text message two hours before the scheduled appointment to say that they apparently over booked and couldn't explain how it happened, so the vacation day I took from work literally for this service appointment went straight down the drain.
I purchased a Kona N Line from Scotia Hyundai at the end of 2023. Unfortunately, in February 2025, the vehicle was deemed a total loss after an incident where I was run off the road. Since then, I have been trying to get in touch with the dealership regarding a refund for the extended warranty. Despite reaching out multiple times over the past month, I have received little to no response from either Michelle in sales or Sterling in finance. Currently driving towards Halifax and writing this review after 1.5 hours on the road — the AC is still not working, and with the heat and discomfort, I felt the need to finally share our experience. We are extremely disappointed with Hyundai Amherst 's service. We've had an ongoing air conditioning issue since last summer in our brand-new Hyundai vehicle, and even after four visits to the dealership, the problem remains unresolved. This place is awful. Our 2020 hyundai accent blew a transmission on the way to Halifax so we towed it to them. It has been sitting there for a week now and I have left multiple messages with the service department. Initially we were going to have them do the repairs, but they clearly have no idea what "service" means. Now Id like to tow my car back to Moncton, but I can't even get ahold of anyone to make sure I can get my keys. I have left 3 voicemails, and 2 messages with sales staff(the only people that answer the phones) ... read more
