We rented a Scootaround for my 88 year old mom for our cruise. It was the first time she used one. It worked out beautifully and was the best thing we could have done. She was easily able to use it. I would highly recommend it.
I’m extremely disappointed by my recent experience with Scootaround. I reached out to rent a motorized wheelchair for a family member with a form of muscular dystrophy. He relies on a motorized chair for mobility and independence. This was for an upcoming family vacation, and we wanted him to enjoy the trip with us as comfortably as possible. Couldn’t have gotten around the cruise ship without it! Scooter was waiting for me in my room when I arrived. Easy to use.
Well I went Chryslers at Carlisle PA and needed a mobility scooter due to chronic back issues. Scootaround to the rescue. Reserved on line, parked at designated handicap parking. Scootaround right there just a few steps away. Could not be any easier.. Best of all the scooter was no big blue store scooter.. this thing moved.Tells me Scootaround knows there Surroundings...There was a lot of ground to cover at the Carlisle Fairgrounds, and Scootaround delivered! NO ISSUES AT ALL.
I rented a scooter for my cruise and thank God I did. It was so easy to operate and keep charged and the size was a perfect fit for my room. And the puck up and drop off were a breeze.
