Drives like an absolute twonk.
Scott and team were highly recommended locally, and they were speedy and helpful. We chose a combi boiler for our small house, which involved new pipework. It was a big job that went quickly, and they kindly knocked £10 off (as I asked if they would) after I raised concerns about paint chips and ceiling marks. Sadly, we’ve been unlucky. A fixing wasn’t fitted properly, causing a leak...and now there's stains on the ceiling. Scofi installed a new boiler for me back in October 2021. I have refrained from writing a review until now as, despite it not being a positive experience, I was giving them the benefit of the doubt on various issues that have occurred since. However, following an annual boiler service carried out recently (by another company), the boiler installation was classed as unsafe, turned off and a “Danger - Safety Warning - Do Not Use” sticker put on it. Totally agree with other reviews here. We chose Scofi despite their higher quote, really due to the persistence of Mags in continuing to phone & see how our plans were progressing (we purchased a property with a boiler that had not been installed according to regulations), & it took some figuring out to have it replaced correctly. Our boiler has a 10 year guarantee against parts & labour which Scofi applied for on our behalf.
