No breakfast available, only coffee and juice, although I was told they're working on it. The room was beautifully appointed, clean and comfortable. Too many steps to be considered handicap-accessible. The lighting was very dim and not suitable for reading. The innkeeper was friendly but often out of sight. The hot water took forever to get hot. Parking lot in the rear of the inn was accessible via a sidewalk that was not in the best of shape, i.e. dangerous.
If I could give more stars, I would. This place was amazing. The whole Inn and rooms were absolutely beautiful. I spent my birthday weekend here and I'm so glad I did. The set up of everything was so romantic. The owner that I talked to to reserve my room was so pleasant. There are lovely restaurants with in walking distance from here. I would definitely recommend this place, you will not be disappointed 🥰
If you’re in Urbana and looking for a place to stay, the Scioto Inn is fantastic. Charming, quaint, clean, and cozy. My wife and I have stayed there several times and always look forward to returning. They do a great job taking care of their guests and making them feel welcome.
This is the best place to stay in Urbana. Beautiful, clean rooms. And the owners are very responsive and very helpful.
