Would have loved to stay here but I've called them 5+ times on different days and times and sent them an email but can get no response.
Quaint, private, comfortable, and quiet… everything we were looking for to celebrate a special birthday! Scioto Inn is wonderfully located downtown within walking distance to dining and shopping—unique, small businesses. Safe downtown area and very walkable. Must try Pequenos Tapas Bar!
This was my 7th stay at the Inn . There is no where else I would want to stay. The rooms are lovely, decorated beautifully with all the amenities you’ll ever want. Every room has a mini fridge to keep your drinks cold. The beds are so comfortable with freshly ironed linens. It’s so quiet and relaxing, there’s a well stocked pantry to pick up anything you may have forgotten or to grab a free cup of coffee to enjoy in the atrium. Wife and I stayed in Urbana for two nights and wanted to stay somewhere a little unique. This little hotel is ideally situated near the middle of town, within very easy walking distance of shopping, restaurants and cafe's. The owner, Richard, was very responsive to emails and extremely helpful while we were onsite. The Inn is very clean and well decorated with art from local, Ohio artists. This is a beautiful, warm, cozy place to stay. The outside entryway is lit up and inviting. The room was clean, warm and comfortable, the bed was sturdy and comfortable. The staff/owner was super nice; it is a small, independent business so I had to call a few times to reserve a room but he got back to me and was very cordial. I would recommend to everyone, you won’t go wrong if you are just looking for a place to stay overnight!!
