I came home late one night to find my yard, driveway, etc flooded with water. I called the emergency number for the water company and let them know about the major leak, water was pouring out of the meter/tap hole. Nobody even showed up to do anything at all about the leak until the next day about noon. Somehow they laid the blame on me for the leak, when my water to my home was shut off, and had been for awhile.
