I took my wife to Dr Scian in April 2022 for her pregnancy. Initially we went to Lighthouse, a free clinic, just to confirm my wife was pregnant. After we confirmed I went and got medical insurance, just wanted to be prepared. Next we looked for doctors that took our new insurance. We went to doctor near Paramus Park, but did not like the facility. Then we found Dr. Scian in Pompton Lakes. We walked in, told him about our experiences at the other facilities. Used to see a doc in Nutley but since I moved, I wanted something closer so I can make my appointments during lunch hours. I also wanted a doctor that was affiliated to a hospital closer to me. Dr Scian was very kind and made me feel comfortable as a new patient. My first visit was thorough and he asked a lot of questions to get to know me. I look forward to having him as a doctor when I decide to start a family.
DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU ARE EVEN MILDLY IRREGULAR AND/OR HAVE A CYCLE LONGER THAN 28 DAYS. It's taken me literally 7+ years to process everything I went thru under the care of this practice. I went here because I was young, first time pregnant, relatively local, and this was the practice that had delivered both my husband and his sister ~25‐30 years earlier, and then also her child ~2 years earlier. Both Joe and John are incredible doctors. They take the time to explain every small detail and the appointments never feel rushed. I highly recommend this practice to anyone who is looking. The front desk staff is always so welcoming and kind as well. Thank you for all that you do!
Really wanted to try this place but didn’t get the opportunity to because the women who works the front desk was extremely rude. Very arrogant & needs to humble herself.
