My usual mechanic was booked up so he recommended Schwabe’s. My problem was an easy fix so they did it for free, and got me in a day earlier than they thought originally. Almost any other place would charge me the minimum hour. I gave them five $5 Tim’s cards as thanks for saving me a lot more than that. I would use them again for sure.
This has been our go to shop for 8 years, but we will be looking for a new one. Had a pair of shocks and mounts replaced in 2024 and then had a warranty issue with one shock when I was 3 hours from Edmonton. My vehicle could not be driven back to Edmonton as the shock had broken and was rubbing on my tire. Had both the local shop and Schwabes speak to us and it was agreed that the small town mechanic would replace the shock and Schwabes would cut us a cheque for the warranty work done by the small town shop.
