Was seeing him due to pelvic/lower abdominal pain. He was quick to brush off concerns and some phone calls I left were missed and never responded to, even though I documented them and there's records of it in "MyChart". To see him a second time I had to contact my PCP just to get a referral even though I was already an established patient. He kept insisting to do my pelvic exam even though I have PTSD (it's even in my old records) and eventually after an US (that was done with a female) found a bunch of concerning things. The best! I had such a good experience with Dr. Schwabe when I was pregnant with my son. I would highly recommend.
I have only ever had positive experiences with Dr. Schwabe! He is kind and mellow and thorough. Always had an answer for any question I had.
Dr. Schwabe is a nice guy I guess, but he's a terrible doctor in all honesty. His bedside manner is incredibly poor, his office staff is incompetent, and he is unwilling to actually hear the patient and her concerns. I have numerous friends who were also patients of his and they too have transferred care to other physicians. Dr. Schwabe treats his patients as if they are all the same with generic female anatomy, not taking in to consideration that every body is different.
