Yesterday, 7/30/25, was supposed to be kids day at the fair. The fair opened at 11 so we thought everything was going to be open for the kids. The only thing that was open was the animals. Food didn't start until 12 noon and rides didn't open until 1pm. It was super hot so we didn't want to be there too long but we waited for the food and rides to open so we could eat, ride a couple of rides and leave. The food was pretty good and they had a misting tent to cool down.
There are a lot of food vendors but very few merchandise vendors. There are a couple of rides for kids, but it's mostly tractor pulls and livestock shows.
