I called the company and was originally quoted about $2800 to move a 1 bedroom apartment about 2 hours away. Minutes later someone named Eric from the company called me back and said it would likely be closer to $3500 and offered to do it himself with 3 “professional” movers from the company for the original quoted price of $2800. I agreed to this and we agreed on a date and time of 10am. Extremely professional and skilled. The movers were very careful with our items and walls. They were also very fast. It takes easily half the time of moving yourself. Thank you again.
The storage units are great, just don't hire the movers. Unless you want to spend the rest of your life picking your way through haphazardly packed that YOU could fit in! They are labeled, just unreadable for handwriting and contrast, like a lima.bean color. I called, and they said Our Driver said he did everything right, just keep digging. No responsibility, no real recourse. The Driver was the guy who probably pocketed some.
